Introduction:
An outline for environmental aspect and impact training and understanding,
evaluating, and implementing effective HIRARC at a workplace may include:
- Environmental aspects and impacts: What they are, how they are
identified, and how they are evaluated - HIRARC: What it stands for, how it is performed, and how it can be used
to analyze workplace risk - Risk control: How to identify, evaluate, and select short-term and longterm controls
- Control methods: How to control hazards at the source, along the path to
the worker, or at the level of the worker - ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 How to improve implementation of these
standards
Environmental aspect and impact training educates individuals and
organizations about the environmental impacts of their activities. HIRARC
stands for Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control, and it’s a
process for identifying hazards and risks in a job or project.
