FSC Awareness training courses designed to introduce and explain the FSC system and how it relates to your business or organization.
Our courses are suitable for anyone who needs a thorough understanding of the FSC system. These are the only courses is delivered by FSC staff members.
These courses are your opportunity to learn first-hand about the FSC system and ask specific questions about the benefits that FSC can bring to your business or organization.
FSC runs a global forest certification system with two key components:
- Forest Management
- Chain of Custody
FSC also licenses retailers and other end users to promote FSC labelled products, without holding FSC certification.
The FSC system allows businesses and consumers to identify, purchase and use wood, paper and other forest products made with materials from well-managed forests and/or recycled sources.
Learning Objectives:
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) shall promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
